Byzantia’s sire Biotop was discovered by Dr. Reiner Klimke in 1992 and he successfully competed him winning countless successes at international level. They were the Westphalian champions in 1993, champions of the Western European league in the World Cup in 1994/95 (coming 4th in the final). Biotop’s total winnings amounted to Euro 125,000.
As a 3 year old Byzantia was shown in hand at 3 different shows -The Royal where she won her class and was overall Reserve Champion, the British Dressage Breeders Show where she won her class and also at the BWBS annual show where again she won her class.
She has now produced two stunning offspring, both by Dimaggio, a filly in 2004 and a colt in 2005 - the 2007 British Dressage Young Horse and Breeding Champion.
