Her sire De Niro  was the 2008 Hanoverian Stallion of the year and is a legend as a dressage sire. In 1997 he was the reserve champion of his performance test in Adelheidsdorf, receiving the highest rideability score with an overall score of 141.93 (dressage 145.41). Competing at Grand Prix in dressage he was declared the best new generation Grand Prix horse in 2000 and won the Championship of German Professional Riders in 2001. He has an overwhelming breeding value rating and his offspring have dominated the foal markets. He has numerous approved sons.  In 2007 his son Deveraux was crowned World Champion of 6 year old dressage horses and he has numerous offspring competing at Grand Prix.

Florestan has produced Fuerst Heinrich, Florencio and French Kiss to name but 3, all winners of the dressage World Championships for Young Horses.

Daylight (Rosie) completed her stud book inspection in Germany gaining 7s and 8s with an overall mark of 7.

Her filly foal by GF Deville in 2010 was graded 'Premium' at the WBS Show that year. Since then she has had 3 more foals by Bertie and all have been gained a High First Premium (scores over 8.5 / 10) at the Futurity.

Her 2015 foal by GF Dusautoir gained a First Premium at the Futurity.

Her 2016 foal by Dimaggio was given an Elite Futurity Premium.

She has had a stunning black filly by Le Vivaldi in June 2017

Rosie was retired after her last Le Vivaldi foal and became an Auntie to our foals until we sadly lost her in 2022 having enjoyed 6 years of happy retirement..

St.Pr.A.H Schneeflocke WB (Hann)

Soliman de Hus x Likoto XX x Dinar
Born: 14 February 2010

Saffy - our beautiful mare that was found in Germany for us and has been with us since she was 3. This Graded and Performance tested mare arrived at Glossoms in October 2013 and in April 2015 had her first foal by GF Dusautoir - a tall dark bay colt that will be one for the future.

In 2016 she had her second foal, another colt this time by Furst Romancier - a tall leggy chestnut with a beautiful face inherited directly from his Mother.

Her 3rd foal was by our own GF DeVille born in May 2017,  a very handsome black colt.

In 2020 she had her 4th foal, this year by the Westphalian Champion D'Egalite, a super smart colt with great presence and movement.

Saffy is now retired and enjoying life as an 'Auntie' and companion.

Leonie  (Hanoverian)

Locksley 11 x Davignon 1 x Matcho AA
Born 20 April 2007

In July 2007 we received the catalogue for the Elite Foal Auction at Verden in August of the same year although we had no intention of either going or purchasing a foal. Flicking through the catalogue a foal caught my eye based on her bloodlines & I couldn't let it go.
We made the trip, we bought the foal and Leonie arrived in the October of the same year.

3 years later we had decided to downsize the breeding and reluctantly put Leonie up for sale and we were delighted that she was bought by International dressage rider Kate Cowell who successfully competed her in young horse classes - she came 2nd in the Badminton Young Horse Final as a 5 year old.

Kate subsequently decided to try her hand at breeding and Leonie came back to us on livery in 2015.  She has gone on to produce 3 fabulous foals for Kate, by Dimaggio, Franklin and Feinrich, all of which have been awarded Premium by the British Hanoverian Horse Society.  Fastnet Rock (by Franklin) came 4th at the Annual Show in 2017 in a class that the German Verband judge described as the best class of colts he had ever seen.

The mare line is so important.  Our decision to buy Leonie as a foal came about after looking at many mares and foals at auctions and noting that many of those we liked had Matcho AA on the dam line.  Davignon was well know to us and Locksley 11 brings together the thoroughbred blood of Lauries Crusader with Weltmeyer.

Leonie is now ours again and here she will remain.  In 2020 she gave birth to a tall black filly by the Negro stallion Navarro & who, with both thoroughbred & Anglo Arab in her back pedigree could be destined for a career in any discipline.

Leonie has been scanned in foal to Furst Zonic and is due April 2023

G F Sezuki (Rhineland)

Sezuan x Sherlock Holmes x Consul
Born 16th April 2014

Sezuan – the triple World Champion! After winning the World Championships for young dressage horses in the class for five-year olds and defending his title the following year in the class for six-year olds, Sezuan also won the class for seven-year olds held for the first time in 2016 with a spectacular performance and a margin of nearly nine percentage points ahead of his closest competitor. The judges gave him the perfect score of 10.0 for his outstanding perspectives. He was also awarded a 9.8 for his trot as well as his walk, a 9.4 for his canter and 9.3 for suppleness. Even in the qualifier, which this extraordinary stallion won by a mile under his rider, Dorothee Schneider, he received the maximum possible score of 10.0 twice, once for his canter and also for his perspectives

Her dam St Pr Sprite is by Sherlock Holmes. He was the reserve champion of his stallion licensing & is noted as a great producer of broodmares.  He has several licensed sons and many St Pr broodmares & his sire Salvano is the grand sire of Salinero, Anky Van Grunsven's Olympic Gold Medal winner.

Suki was   with our partners at   Court Farm Stud where she was entered into young horse classes in both 2018 & 2019.  She topped her qualifier by some distance in 2018 but did not qualify at the Semi Final - we were all a little bewildered as to why.  Several horses that she had already beaten did qualify and we have no doubt that she should have been in the final.

She was performance tested for the British Hanoverians at the end of September 2018.  She scored a massive 8.54 for her ability as a dressage horse and was given a 9 for her rideability and a 9.5 from the test rider showing how well she has been prepared by Mark Forrest during the year.  She gained her 1A by winning her mare showing class to confirm that she is now a Premium Mare Candidate and will be given the full title once she has a foal on the ground. Suki went on to become the overall Supreme Champion of the show where the Hanoverian judge commented that she just got better and better over the course of the two days.

On 28th July 2019 Suki contested the British International 5 year old Championship at Hickstead having qualified at Bicton in June.  Delighted to say that she was crowned Champion!

She has now been sold but we are delighted that we were safely delivered of a foal by Bon Coeur via Embryo Transfer in April 2020.

Dea Fortuna GF (BHHS)

Dimaggio x Biotop x Cocktail
Born 7th April 2015

Full sister to DeVille, Dusautoir & Dizzy Rascal. Premium BHHS foal.

As a foal Dea was never taken to the Futurity,  instead her outing was to a big regional BHHS foal show at Court Farm Stud where she excelled equalling the highest scores on the day (8.5) out of 20 foals presented, several of which were already graded Futurity Elite.

She is of exceptional quality, as was her full sister also described as exceptional by the Hanoverian Verband judges when she was crowned Champion of her Mare Performance Test in 2013

Dea was sent to Court Farm Stud to be prepared for her Mare Performance Test with the Hanoverians.  During this period she proved to be superb under saddle and with a natural ability over jumps.  Regrettably on veterinary advice we had to stop riding her because of a suspected virus 3 weeks before the Performance Test to ensure the safety of her unborn foal. We were still able to take her in hand to the show where she was stud book inspected and then topped her class of 3 year old mares, gaining the necessary 1A qualification which marks her down as an Elite Candidate.  Dea went on to be crowned Youngstock Champion.

Her foal by Escolar arrived in early April 2019, a super chestnut colt. In 2021 she safely delivered another chestnut colt this time by  Bellany, the Champion Oldenburge stallion by Bon Coeur,

In April 2023 she is due to deliver her 3rd foal, this time by For Real.

La Bonne Volonte GF (BHHS)

Le Vivaldi x Biotop x Cocktail
Born 8th May 2017

Bonnie is a tall, leggy beautiful black girl by Le Vivaldi who we hope to compete in future years but she clearly needed time to grow into herself.

She is half sister to DeVille & Dea and is the last foal to be born to Mum Byzantia who has been in retirement ever since.

She was backed and performance tested with the Hanoverians and has clear scope to be good in any of the Olympic sports but her size has meant that she needs extra time to grow and develop.  With this in mind we have decided to put her in foal before hopefully bringing her back into work once the foal is weaned.

In foal to So Unique (Sezuan) due June 2023.

La Bonne Viveuse GF (BHHS)

Le Vivaldi x De Nero x Florestan
Born 14th June 2017

Lottie is the last foal to be  born to Rosie (Daylight) who we retired after her birth.  We decided to retain Lottie to continue he dam's De Nero x Florestan birth line and sadly we lost Rosie in 2022 so this daughter is special to us.

Lottie is very forward thinking, has excellent movement and type and has been allowed to mature before putting her in foal.

She was scanned in foal at the first attempt and we are looking forward to her Bonjour baby in April.
