Youngstock

Born 11th April 2019

Escolar x DiMaggio x Biotop

Elmo - the first foal from Dea Fortuna, the last of the DiMaggio x Biotop x Cocktail homebreds and possibly the best of all of them.

Dea was unable to be performance tested as a 3 year old because she had a virus and so we had to abandon her test under saddle to ensure the safe delivery of this special boy. She was however graded with the BHHS and entered in the show where she became not only the 3 year old Champion but the overall Youngstock Champion.

Escolar was the highest ranked stallion in the breeding index in Germany for 2018 and a Grand Prix Stallion.  Both Biotop & Cocktail were themselves world class Grand Prix stallions and with Dimaggio you have the World Breeding Champion at 5 years old.

The pedigree of this boy is outstanding.

He is with Mark Forrest and Darren Mattia and now looking for his new home

Bonne Esprit GF(BHHS) (Not for Sale)

Born 29th April 2020

Bon Coeur x Sezuan x Sherlock Holmes

By Embryo Transfer

Mum Suki was the 5 year old Hickstead International Champion in 2019 and has now been sold to further her career with Claire Abel so when Essie arrived we were particularly pleased that we had a filly.

Bon Coeur was a premium stallion in Verden in 2014, and won his 30-day test in Schlieckau in a very strong field with total points of 9.1 for his gaits. During the 30-day test, he was rewarded with the maximum of 10.0 several times. Bon Coeur has been awarded 9.0 multiple times for rideability during qualifiers to the Bundeshampionat. He was also champion in Hannover 2016 and was, both as a 3-year and 4-year-old Reserve-Bundeschampion in Warendorf. He was awarded the Weltmeyer Prize 2017, from the Hanoverian Association for his magnificent year in the sport. In September 2018, Bon Coeur made his first start in Sweden. He had an impressive 93% in the 6-year-old test, with a 10 for future prospects. In January 2020 Bon Coeur made a start at international small tour with +71% in Wellington, Florida.

This filly is a keeper for us at Glossoms for future sport and breeding via ET

GF Devoto (BHHS)

Born 1st May 2020

D'Egalite x Solimun De Hus x Likoto xx

Very very pleased with this chap, from our St Pr St mare Schneeflocke (Saffy). Danny has delighted us from the moment he was born and said 'Hey look at me!'

Sire D‘Egalité inspired as the most striking stallion of all licensings in 2015. D’Egalité became undisputed winner of a  group of strong competitors at the Westphalian licensing in Muenster-Handorf. Well framed top line, excellent walk and exemplary rideability.

Results- He completed sovereignly both the 14-day test and the sport test  with top scores. The Westphalian Verband honoured D’Egalité with the VTV title in the stallion championship on the occasion of the licensing in 2017. In 2018, D’Egalité won extraordinarily in elementary (L) level tests for young dressage horses, always with scores above 8.0. He qualified effortlessly for the Bundeschampionat.

GF Navarreuse (BHHS)

Born 2nd June 2020

Navarro x Locksley 11 x Davignon x Matcho AA

This is Leonie's 4th foal but her first for us here at Glossoms. Leonie was purchased by us as a foal from the Auction in Verden and we are delighted that she is now part of our breeding program.

Nesta is a long legged black filly from the Negro son Navarro

Navarro impressed at his licensing in Verden with his clear forward impulse, strong back and natural balance as well as an outstanding temperament. He is clearly influenced by his father Negro, sire of Valegro who needs no further comment.

Navarro's mother St.Pr. St Santa Maria is also dam to a graded stllion by Lingh & Navarro's full sister Nonina sold for 230,000 euros through the P.S.I auction.

Although bred for dressage, Nesta is already displaying a desire to jump for the fun of it in the field, and with the Anglo Arab blood of Matcho and the thoroughbred blood of both Lauris Crusader xx from her dam line and Cardinal xx in the back pedigree of her sire, she could have a promising career in any discipline.

GF  Bellini (BHHS)

Born 26th April 2021

Bellany x Dimaggio x Biotop x Cocktail

This is Beano, a chestnut colt by Bellany, the 2019 Oldenburg Champion stallion by Bon Coeur.

He is the second foal out of our own homebred Dea Fortuna GF, who is full sister to GF DeVille and GF Dusautoir, both of whom were licensed stallions.

Dea herself was the 2018 BHHS Youngstock Champion and is now a full time Mum here at Glossoms

Belle Du Jour GF(BHHS)

Born 13th April 2023

Bonjour x Le Vivaldi x De Niro x Florestan

Poppy - our first foal of 2023 and the first foal born to Lottie who was the last foal of her super Mum Rosie and who we have retained as a broodmare to continue her line.

Poppy is by Bonjour whose fabulous performance at the Hanoverian licensing earned him a place in the premium ring. Heike Kemmer commented "  beautiful and charismatic. In movement this stallion, clearly marked by his sire Bon Coeur, always presented himself in an uphill frame and super elastic",

First Leonie GF (BHHS)

Born 20th April 2023

Furst Zonic x Locksley 11 x Davignon x Matcho AA

Leonie has given us a super filly from the Licensing Champion Furst Zonic.  He made a star appearance in the licensing arena and was placed at the top whilst receiving cheers from the expert audience.

We chose him because of the outstanding quality of his three basic gaits walk, trot and canter which makes him a horse well suited for the big dressage arenas. The genetics of this star stallion with his Champion sire Furstenball and the damline which has produced multiple world champions means that we are hopeful that this beautiful filly will be a future dressage star..

Freda was taken as a last minute substitute to the BHHS show in September where she was awarded the coveted premium status.

In 2018, he was premium stallion at the licensing in Danish Warmblood and later on he won the 35-days performance test in Denmark with the total score of 8,72.
